Haigh Hall Golf Club is an EGU registered golf club that plays on the 18 hole Balcarres course - a public course managed by Wigan Leisure & Culture Trust, and located in Haigh Country Park.
Membership of the club is open to men and women of all ages and abilities.
The course is challenging, but enjoyable, and is being constantly improved.
Most of the club’s competitions are open to both men and women. We have reserved tee times on Saturdays and Sundays plus tee times on Wednesdays for the senior section of the club. Thus there is a full year’s fixture of competitions and games for all members.
Junior members have access to high quality coaching through the club’s partnership with the Tigers Club which is run by the on course team of PGA professionals. See the Junior’s page in the About The Club Section for details.
As it is a public course, societies or any member of public wanting to book a tee time or golf lessons must ring the professional shop on 01942 831107 . The club cannot take bookings.
