Come join the club
At Haigh Hall we have a small friendly membership in different categories. The benefit of this is that you are guaranteed a tee time to play in competitions unlike some private clubs which, having so many members, need to limit the number of people who can play.
The course is maintained by Wigan Council’s fully qualified green keeping staff and is open year round – playing on summer greens even through winter.

Interested in playing golf
Are you interested in playing golf then why not join Haigh Hall Golf Club. We are a proud small club that plays on the picturesque public course at Haigh Country Park.
We are members of both England Golf and the Lancashire Golf Union of Golf Clubs and we play competitions four days a week which are on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Being a member of Haigh Hall will give you an official World Handicap Index that enables you to not only play Haigh Hall’s competitions but also to enter open competitions at other clubs.
Value for money and flexibility
Here at Haigh Hall membership of the golf club is only £100 maximum.
Unlike other clubs the fee covers all competition fees, however you do still need to pay to play on the course for which there are many different ways to do this. You can pay on a per round basis, prices vary on the time you play, or you can purchase an annual season ticket giving you unlimited golf.
